My name is Corrin Foster and I’m a lifestyle blogger based in Austin, Texas. I’ve been blogging since 2009 and love sharing my thoughts, ideas, and experiences with you all.

I’m a stay-at-home mom to two kids ages 9 and 6. We live in Downtown Austin, close to lots of fun things to do and see! I love cooking, baking, traveling, reading, spending time outdoors (especially hiking), and just plain ol’ hanging out with family and friends.

As a lifestyle blogger, I hear this phrase all the time. It’s why my blog is called “An Austin Based Lifestyle Blog.” attitude matters. If you don’t have a good attitude, it’s hard to be successful in anything. You can’t control what other people do or say, but you can control how you react to them. Whether you’re happy or frustrated with life, your attitude reflects that. Here are five tips for having a positive attitude:

1) Stay positive and upbeat throughout your day. No one likes a downer, especially when it’s contagious.
2) Make goals for yourself and aim high. Don’t be content with just getting by; set lofty goals and work towards them. Even if you don’t achieve them all at once, that’s okay!3) Talk to others positively about their accomplishments (and avoid talking down to them). It’ll boost their self-confidence and help build relationships of mutual respect.4) Take the time to savor small moments in life instead of dwelling on the negative ones. What small things can you enjoy today?5) Give yourself permission to be human – make mistakes, take some time off, etc.. These are all natural parts of life that don’t mean we’re failures as individuals or as a team.
